Since 1969, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) has convened the brightest minds in the offshore energy sector to exchange ideas, discuss and debate new concepts, and build consensus around the most pressing challenges facing the sector. To kick-off the 2025 conference, OTC host an Opening Ceremony to welcome attendees, speakers, and exhibitors alike; recognize the exceptional work of OTC’s award winners; and share an update on the state of the industry with an opening plenary session. The opening plenary will serve as a focal point for the conference – setting the scene for the collaborative conversations and debates to take place over the next four days. Four highly respected industry leaders will converse on the most pressing issues in today’s landscape including policy, meeting our world’s evolving energy needs, and the industry’s public license to operate. The session will provide a unique opportunity to hear their views before the exhibit floor opens and the technical program is underway. Immediately following the opening plenary, OTC will honor the remarkable contributions of this year’s Distinguished Achievement Award recipients in a special recognition ceremony. Their outstanding achievements in the offshore energy sector will be celebrated, showcasing the spirit of excellence that defines our industry. This exciting ceremony will lead into a ribbon-cutting event, marking the official opening of the exhibit floor and inviting attendees to explore cutting-edge innovations and pioneering solutions that are shaping the future of offshore energy.
