Innovative technologies are revolutionizing the capabilities of autonomous underwater vehicles, significantly advancing subsea drone residency and operations. This technical session will explore how breakthroughs such as smart inductive charging and underwater RFID applications are enabling Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to operate more efficiently and independently in offshore environments. Additionally, the session will examine advancements in navigation technologies, including dead reckoning for precise positioning, as well as enhanced vision systems for leak detection and condition assessment.
