Technical Session
This session will focus on geotechnical and engineering aspects of offshore wind turbine installations from mooring systems and anchors to stress simulations. The session will also examine repurposing of offshore oil and gas platforms for alternative energy generation including wind, and for supplemental energy supply to existing offshore infrastructure. Examples will be shared from several settings around the globe.
