Chevron's Anchor project high pressure 20ksi system planning and execution including subsurface, wells, subsea systems, drilling and completions, a floating production unit, and export pipelines will be covered. Technology advancements and qualifications of HPHT equipment and systems (wellheads, liner hangers, trees, BOPs, risers, etc.) design, verification and validation, including the evolution of regulatory HPHT process and approvals, will be presented. Various aspects of supply chain, fabrication, installation, HSE, will be discussed. Challenges encountered and lessons learned in this mega project execution will be shared.
