The push to decarbonize the planet is intensifying and decarbonizing technologies are of increasing importance both within our industry and the larger economy. Today a range of decarbonization solutions are driving reductions in emissions and enhancing operational effectiveness. Innovations in detection, monitoring, analyzing, and remediating well site emissions, for example, are at the forefront of this change in the way we operate.
We also are seeing benefits from innovations in artificial lift and production chemicals which do more with less across the life cycle of a well. As a result, the outlook for the energy industry is to be less carbon intensive, more interconnected and efficient as we continue to meet the world’s need for energy. Together, the industry will be a part of the solution to the challenges ahead.
